After School Kids Club
The After School Kids Club runs every Tuesday from 4.30pm until 6.30 pm (Ages 6-11 years)
We believe this is a great way for the children to learn about computing in a safe, friendly and supervised environment.
The kids club includes:
- Scratch – introduces game creation & animation.
- Create Computer Art – Using Home Publisher
- Internet Safety/Cyber Bullying
- Play Games to enhance group activity
- Web Design – create design an animated website
- Movie Maker – create, edit and publish movies
Children are awarded with Creative Computer Skills Certificates and the Scratch Certificates. The cost is €45 per term which is paid in advance at the beginning of the term. Pay as you go methods are also available.
We also have Kids and Teen Camps for Easter, Summer and Halloween.
Teens ECDL
The European Computer Driving Licence has become the recognized standard worldwide for computer ability. The courses have been updated to keep up-to-date with the latest Technological innovations.
Teens ECDL covers the following 7 Modules:
- Module 1: Computer Essentials *New
- Module 2: Online Essentials *New
- Module 3: Word Processing (Microsoft Word)
- Module 4: Spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
- Module 5: Databases (Microsoft Access)
- Module 6: Presentation Tools (Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Module 7: I.T. Security *New
€10 per class. (optional exam fee €145) Course starts in September and runs once a week for 35 weeks.
