THIS COURSE WILL COMPRISE OF THE FOLLOWING MODULES:

This course is for anyone who would like to know more on Editing Photos on their smartphones.

Requirements, Students need to have a basic understanding of their smartphone, they need to have passwords for any downloading of app

  • Positive Effects of Editing Photographs
  • Fundamentals of Digitally Editing Photographs on a mobile phone
  • Editing functions on a smartphone (Android and iPhone

Basic ‘handling’ of Photographs

  • Cropping,
  • Straighten horizon,
  • Clean up
  • Available Apps for mobile photo editing (Snapseed, Afterlight, VSCO, Photo Room etc. Selection and acquisition of most suitable Apps).
    • Adjusting White Balance
    • Exposure and Contrast
    • Colour Vibrancy and Saturation
    • Sharpness

Using Google Photos to alter photographs (move or erase people from photos, enlarging specific details, etc.)  Apps such as Photo Room can also remove backgrounds from photographs.
