Access I.T. Featured by AONTAS: Supporting Communities Through Digital Learning
We were delighted to recently welcome AONTAS to Access I.T., who visited us to learn more about our work in supporting digital inclusion across Waterford City and County.
During their visit, AONTAS engaged with our team and learners, gaining first-hand insight into how community-based digital education can make a real difference in people’s lives. The visit highlighted the importance of accessible, supportive learning environments where individuals can build confidence using technology at their own pace.
The blog published by AONTAS captures the essence of what we aim to achieve at Access I.T. creating opportunities for people to develop essential digital skills, stay connected, and participate more fully in everyday life. It also reflects the strong community partnerships that underpin our work and the growing need for inclusive digital education.
We are proud to see our work recognised and shared as part of the wider community education sector. It reinforces the value of local initiatives in addressing digital exclusion and supporting lifelong learning.
